Yes, we have a winner for the Camwhore Award for this WCA!

That’s Bonyok from Johor Pirates taking the time to pose under fire in the snake. Incidentally, that’s my EGO7, Deathstix and Vlo loader he’s using!

Dave Norman from APG told me a funny story after I told him about The Camwhore Award. Apparently someone in the snake posed for him with a “V” sign while he was shooting from the media tower into the snake. Wrong photographer but Dave took the photo anyway.

Back from WCA and as expected it was truly a wet and muddy affair. The conditions took a toll on my camera as it broke down during the first day. Fortunately it managed to get back up and running for the rest of the tournament. Can’t wait to see what the repair cost are going to be.

Heroes were made during this WCA. Victories small and big were evident daily but I think end of it all everyone won something in one way or another.

• 4th - D’Mercy Kids 

In a few hour it’s off to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to cover World Cup Asia 2008, the premier paintball event of the region where some of the best teams from Asia and from as far as Europe, South Africa, Australia and the United States come to compete.

This year’s event will be at Xtion Paintball Park, Bukit Jalil. With the monsoon season in tow and knowing the condition of the field it’s gonna be a cold, wet and muddy affair. Just like last year but only worse.

It’s back to packing for me and then got to try to get an early night tonight.
